ASI-Team Leader, eCommerce Sales
The Team Leader, eCommerce Sales is responsible for a dedicated leading team focused on inspiring a world class ownership experience. As shoppers are selecting appliances to be the heart of their home, the eCommerce Sales Consultant team brings heart to our brands. This role is responsible for the team delivering on differentiated ownership experience with maximum conversation and channel awareness.
What you will Do
Deliver training to new hires that allow them to deliver an exceptional shopping experience when assisting shoppers through the ordering process via email, phone, live chat or text.
Execute strategies to maximize sales conversion, deliver on sales and margin goals, and drive world-class ease of doing business / agent satisfaction scores.
Set the standards for how the business brand image and mission is expressed in every interaction with owners and potential owners.
Develop a strong understanding of resources utilized by sales consultants each day, including product knowledge resources, CRM system, sales transactions, and post-sale support processes.
Coach team members to their highest potential.
Establish performance and sales conversion metrics that are utilized to monitor team and individual performance towards established business objectives.
Understanding of channel partners and how to optimize the joint sales goals.
What you need to Succeed
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Sales, Online Sales and/or Customer Service
Prior experience leading a team
Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and professional demeanor.
Proven inclusive leadership style with effective coaching techniques.
Positive attitude with proven ability to influence team to optimal performance.
Excellent written communication skills: grammar, sentence structure, and spelling.
Self-starter. Able to develop and manage multiple projects and diverse tasks.
Proven ability to work well in a team environment to achieve personal, team, and company-wide goals.
Computer literate with ability to learn new applications quickly.
Strong work ethic with integrity, self-motivation, and personal responsibility.
Strong presentation skills. Able to present ideas and communicate at all levels of the business.
Experience with GE Appliances Call Centers or equivalent customer service experience.
3+ years’ experience with online direct channel sales strongly preferred.
Ability to lead, coach, inspire, and train a sales team.
Strong record of sourcing, training, and retaining top sales talent.
Entrepreneurial spirit; desire to exceed sales goals.
