The Challenge

Systems/Telecom Assistant for 400+ person telephone service center.

What you will Do

  • Perform Windows 10 administrative functions and maintain and program specialized software applications.

  • Troubleshoot PC’s, networks, wiring, software applications, troubleshoot VOIP telephone system & telecom network.

  • Prepare and distribute daily reports and perform back-ups and maintain archives.

  • Process experts for all applications and cross functional support throughout the business enterprise.

  • Administer and maintain OSC, SMC, COPS user accounts.

  • Administer third party call taking work requests and set-up.

  • TIRA administration.

  • Support and administration of systems department functions.

  • Must be able to interface with Management, end-users and other technical support.

  • Perform facility related functions

  • Support call center operations.

  • Operational support for routing; call routing and database maintenance.

  • Must be able to gain the understanding of and lead projects and initiatives for ASI IT.

  • Must coordinate efforts with IT LVL, IT Rapid, Leadership, as well as agents.

  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all.

  • Other duties as assigned by the IT-EHS Facilities Systems Manager.

What you need to Succeed

  • Requires experience with network troubleshooting, Microsoft Office Applications, data conversion/manipulation, telephone systems; normally acquired through completion of an associate’s degree and/or five years of progressively related company PC experience working with IT.

  • Must have analytical ability necessary to handle moderately complex spreadsheets and databases.

  • Requires some experience with telephone systems such as Avaya in a VOIP environment.

  • Requires experience with remote desktop.

  • Call routing and database maintenance.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, coordinate multiple resources and prioritize tasks.

  • Good organization, time management and interpersonal skills.

  • Acts with integrity. Seeks leadership guidance as necessary yet acts autonomously to execute job responsibilities. Recommends & follows procedures as required for the position. Works under general direction of IT-EHS Systems Manager.

  • Works independently, providing assistance to the Systems Manager and ASI. Exercises initiative and judgment on a regular basis.
