Senior Service Diagnostics Systems Engineer
Implement diagnostic features in support of the Duct Free Split (DFS), Zoneline, and water heater product lines.
What you will Do
Implement diagnostic features in support of the Duct Free Split (DFS), Zoneline, and water heater product lines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement diagnostic data algorithms for product platforms, including connected and non-connected product use cases.
Define diagnostic data requirements (F-Codes, Cycle History, and Usage Profile Data) for product platforms. Responsible for NewFI specifications in assigned product lines. Identify root cause field failures by leveraging available diagnostics data. Research and develop algorithms to predict and detect top Service Call Rate (SCR) drivers. Support data science team to facilitate the execution of machine learning projects.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 7 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience is required. The position also requires experience with all of the following: 1 year of experience using SAS platform for data mining and analysis; 1 year of experience developing diagnostic algorithms for fault detection; 1 year of experience working with factory service technicians; 5 years of design experience using calrod heating systems; 5 years of experience performing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA); and 5 years of experience in technical project management.
