What you will Do
Description of work to be performed:
Lead strategic and transformative projects in line with overall sourcing strategy. Drive process improvement and synergy across the business through the creation and implementation of tools for sourcing team. Act as the sourcing expert on should-cost analysis. Partner with the R&D team to drive cost out across product lines. Provide subject matter expertise and coaching on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for Sourcing business users. Leverage sourcing reporting expertise for ERP utilizing the Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA). Execute Data Value Analysis (DVA) reports and facilitate cross-functional work-outs to identify and implement project opportunities. Drive the development, building, and maintaining of a Printed Circuit Board (PCBA) electronic tool to be used across the enterprise. Create and own sourcing reports, project plans, standard operating procedures, testing, and implementation of new reporting functionality. Provide user acceptance testing and training for sourcing team.
What you need to Succeed
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business and 7 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience is required. In the alternative, employer will accept a master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business and 5 years of related experience. The position also requires 5 years of project management experience in the manufacturing industry leading multiple complex, cross-functional global projects involving business or sourcing process improvements; 5 years of experience using sourcing and related purchase processes, including category definition, supplier quotation, quote evaluation, negotiation, supplier risk evaluation and supplier selection and onboarding; 5 years of experience using the sourcing module of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; 3 years of experience conducting should-cost analysis; 2 years of experience participating in product tear downs; and 2 years of experience with component negotiations.
