The Challenge

GE Appliances is building an exciting new interactive cooking media platform. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing the marketing strategy to launch and grow this platform. A successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, initiating projects and relentlessly pursue opportunities to experiment and validate key assumptions for the new venture. This will also include analysis of consumers, content creators, and competitive trends to identify and develop growth opportunities. This role will direct the development of the brand, oversee the creation of marketing assets, and define the product positioning based on market insights

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategy for new interactive cooking media platform.

  • Develop new product insights and consumer targeted product offerings via trend and competitive analyses.

  • Partner with the production and development team to prioritize and execute marketing plan.

  • Define brand and product positioning strategy.

What you need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferred in Marketing or Communications

  • Minimum of 5 years of Marketing experience.

  • Deep understanding of digital, social and evolving tools and platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate trends into business opportunities.

  • Experience in and comfortable working with ambiguity and change. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time
