Senior Manager, Sales Operations
Senior Manager, Sales Operation is a key position within the Commercial Operations organization. This role is responsible for leading operational excellence and driving the efficiencies of all key processes and systems within the Sales Operations function that ultimately lead to sales and margin growth.
What you will Do
Lead the Retail Sales Operations Group to support and advocate for the Retail Sales Team so they can best grow their customers.
Recruit, select, train and train Retail Sales Operations team: responsible for performance management including compensation, rewards, recognition, feedback and performance development.
Facilitate a fast-changing environment between our customers, the business and the field to drive to Zero Distance by making GEA the easiest company to do business with.
Create new and maintain existing ASM tools including; Retail Programing Guide, ASM Life Line, New ASM Guide and the Sales Central Tile.
Manage, help author and distribute Field communications such as Newsletters, Special Topics updates, and the Pricing Promo planner for flawless execution.
Work directly with the Pricing team to not only deliver the Pricing Promo planner but find new ways to support flawless execution.
Champion and lead new projects for retail account support to enhance the business and promote Commercial Growth and overall customer experience.
Lead efforts to support Salesforce effectiveness initiatives, including Sales tools, developing and delivering training, and collaborating with Retail and Contract Sales Operations teams. This may include representing Sales Operations in sales-facing training sessions, creating BrainSharks or job aides for Dynamics, Salesforce.com, Sales Central, CustomerNet, or other Sales related tools.
Support the Buying Group and Independent (BG&I) customers for account needs, group show programming, and FirePower backside programming.
Work with Finance to coordinate FirePower reviews and customer agreements for BG&I customers.
Manage the setup process and customer communication for Special Head Quarter programming for BG&I customers such as Premier, Café Elite, Monogram EPP, Ultra Fresh Frontload Plus and Focus.
Provide administrative support for Commercial Leadership meetings. This may include running slides for business leaders in Teams, taking notes and action items, managing the agenda and being an active participant.
Collaborate with Retail, Contract, Product and Brand Teams to create customer programs, sales engagement activations for ASMs, and sales associate activities. This would include store Blitzes and sales contest.
What you need to Succeed
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 years Sales/Marketing/Sales operations experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion and influence cross-function teams.
• Clear understanding of GEA’s Retail Field organizations and its support systems and processes
• Proficient organizational skills
• Willingness to flex job responsibilities, matching the needs of a dynamic team environment
