Senior Manager, Global Digital Learning
The Senior Manager, Global Digital Learning is a member of the Organization & Talent Development Organization for Haier Smart Homes. The role reports to the Director of Enterprise Learning and Development with alignment to the Executive Director, Organization & Talent Development Organization for Haier Smart Homes. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the organizations digital learning strategy. The Senior Manager, Global Digital Learning will work to integrate technology to enhance the business learning strategies and the overall employee learning experience. The initial focus will be an enterprise wide LMS (Raven 360) implementation, governance and management of the e-learning team (US and globally) and the implementation of an LXP (EdCast) for the GE Appliances (GEA) organization.
What you will Do
Lead the development, communication, and implementation of a shared vision for the comprehensive use of technology to support a digital-age learning & development. Ensure learning platforms and products are current with solutions and approaches to digital learning
Work in collaboration with the HR Operations, IT and other key stakeholders to implement an enterprise-wide LXP (EdCast) for GEA while concurrently optimizing the LMS (Raven 360) across Haier Smart Homes
Collaborate extensively with HR Functions and stakeholders globally to provide integrated and aligned solutions and optimize the usage of the digital tools
Monitor the digital learning environment, scanning for tools or platforms that would help L & D achieve its objectives on a large scale
Lead global digital learning resources across 690 to improve offerings & experiences.
Manage the Global LMS Administrator Group to optimize the use and functionality of the LMS.
Collaborate with learning leaders throughout global business to create digital learning strategies to address business needs
Build e-learning development team that will curate, create, and communicate training content for enterprise learning purposes.
Work with functional areas to assist in building curation of learning assets and courses into LXP accessibility
Maintain relationships of digital learning vendors to ensure solutions are current and achieving desired solutions and results.
Responsible for maintaining the mobile learning environment of both the LXP and LMS for GEA Appliances through vendor created applications supporting the use of the platform for GEA Functional areas.
Build and sustain a virtual classroom digital learning environment to be utilized by Enterprise Learning Services while establishing best practice standards for the functional learning departments in using virtual classroom tools.
(Virtual/Remote Work Location Option): While there are advantages to our Louisville, KY headquarters, the work location may be flexible depending on the the candidate.
What you need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree; MA Preferred in related field
Years of Experience 7 - 10 years of progressive leadership experience in E-learning and Learning Platforms management
Experience implementing learning platforms required.
Experience building/expanding Digital Learning capability strongly preferred
Effective communication, active listening, internal consulting, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Collaboration skills including the ability to work with diverse perspectives of business unit managers, HR and external vendors
Strong experience with learning authoring tools
Strong data analytics skills to develop learning analytics with data from learning platforms
Able to work effectively with remote team members Global, cross cultural orientation
Strong Project Management skill set experience with managing multiple streams of work with multiple clients simultaneously with great success. Strong Process discipline.
Comfortable managing ambiguity and managing changing priorities
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders across geographic boundaries
Normal working conditions. Ie. Office setting
Will require global travel
