Senior Fulfillment Specialist

The Challenge

The Senior Fulfillment Systems Specialist will manage demand planning, supply execution, and order fulfillment for Lowe’s, to achieve superior service and support sales growth. Particular areas of focus will include fulfillment responsibilities for Room Air Conditioners, Compact Refrigerators, and Countertop Microwaves, with annual billing over $200M. The role will also focus on service improvements to reduce performance penalties imposed by the customer.

What you will Do

Establish/manage processes that support Hoshin objectives and achieve fulfillment excellence for the Lowe’s account.

  • Create and maintain customer product forecasts .

  • Coordinate customer initiatives pertaining to product fulfillment (i.e. distribution changes) .

  • Manage NPI transitions to prevent discontinued inventory; drive disposition of channel-specific inventory .

  • Direct Co-managed inventory activities where needed.

  • Manage customer events including new outlets, promotions, and floor display changes.

  • Manage flow of demand and supply data across GE and customer systems.

Develop service and cost improvements to optimize current and future fulfillment value stream:

  • Drive improvements in customer service, particularly On-Time Arrival and Fill Rate.

  • Minimize cost to serve customer(s) through process improvements and operational tactics such as changes in distribution strategy.

Ensure processes satisfy customer requirements and expectations at lowest cost:

  • Drive customer issue resolution across functions.

  • Manage customer “compliance” process to avoid penalties imposed on GE.

Provide analytical support to assigned Sales clients, including insights into sales results, inventory position, and service issues.

What you need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fulfillment, Distribution, Sales Operations, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated analytical and data management skills.

  • Demonstrated process improvement and project management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build customer relationships and influence other organizations.

  • Must be willing and able to travel a moderate amount (approx.10%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or graduate degree a plus.

  • Understanding of retail business practices and global supply chain management.

  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks concurrently and reset priorities based on latest data.

  • Results oriented; proven ability to deliver on commitments and follow through.

  • Ability to integrate, and drive action across multi-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

  • 10% travel required for domestic and/or international travel to customer sites/ plants, etc.
