Senior Digital Specialist
This critical role will execute large scale digital experience projects with the goal of increasing the quality of web site visitors, driving brand commitment and influencing sales through multiple consumer facing digital platforms. The successful candidate will leverage digital channels including web, search, mobile, video and social as well as other emerging channels and technologies. This role will be responsible for managing tools and processes required for successful digital platforms relevant to the consumer during the shopping process and ownership. Other key responsibilities include the ability to write detailed, usability guided project specs, understand technical requirements, manage vendor relationships and drive digital projects from conception to launch. The candidate will keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies while defining, implementing and tracking tool roadmaps. The ability to collaborate cross functionally is expected.
What you will Do
Manage, develop and deliver key Digital technology platforms supporting consumer facing web pages and programs that exceed consumer journey expectations. (i.e. Where to Buy, Accessibility, Ratings and Reviews)
Execute thought leadership projects that focus on improved consumer experience, growth, consumer acquisitions and retention.
Create, manage and deliver against large, interdependent project plans.
Work closely with Digital Analytics team to develop metrics plans and KPI targets - develop/recommend/implement capabilities to increase success metrics including DUV’s, conversion, time on site and overall engagement.
Think strategically and tactically while balancing competing priorities.
Partner with key agencies, I/T teams, Vendor Management, digital team, brand, advertising, merchandising, product teams, legal, communications and PR, to ensure consistency across all consumer touch points.
Evaluate technology trends, consumer research, market conditions and competitor data to recommend future actions.
Drive regular leadership report outs on digital technology implementation, performance and lifecycle.
What you need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 years of digital marketing experience focused on Digital Technologies supporting web, email, video, display media, mobile, social and search marketing experience.
Experience in complex project management and execution skills.
Experience in a fast-paced B2C environment, preferably in long cycle consumer products industry.
Deep experience collaborating, problem solving and working within a matrix organization, leading by influence with various levels of stakeholders.
Strong business acumen with proven track record for performance and leadership.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Creative mind and execution-focused work ethic.
Understanding of big ticket buying cycles and triggers.
Strong analytics background, competencies in Google Analytics, dashboards and tracking
Salesforce Marketing cloud and Datorama experience
