What you will Learn & Do

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Legal Intern assignments, generally 10 -12 weeks, vary widely in terms of the business functions/processes impacted and the type of work required.

  • Review files for compliance with business policies and retention guidelines

  • Support paralegals, attorneys, and administrative team members with various legal projects

  • Research assignments related to legal issues or current business matters

  • Delivery/pick up of confidential corporate documents

  • Assist with the gathering of material and documentation; including but not limited to the copying of documents for discovery production, filing confidential lawsuit materials, gathering litigation documentation, and organizing all litigation documents

  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Perform related duties as required

What you need to Succeed

Required Qualifications

  • Rising High School Senior or enrolled in college/university

  • Candidate must be enrolled and be in good academic standing - Cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0

  • Requires the ability to work well in a team environment. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to write simple correspondence.

  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in technology

  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities

  • Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

  • General business / finance understanding
