Intern – Key Retail National Accounts
We are looking for Sophomore, Junior or Senior college students or MBA Candidates to join GE Appliances, a Haier Company (GEA). The GE Appliances retail national accounts intern position will assist in providing sales operational support for multiple key national accounts. This role will involve daily interaction directly with customer teams, GE Appliances internal teams and national account managers. In addition this position will support special projects as needed.
What you will Do
Develop and execute promotional tracking reports and sales reports ensuring sales goals are met.
Support the Product line review process including the organization of products, presentations and launch planning. Manage price sheets, provide analysis, Sell-Thru and other reports, and support quarterly reviews and new customer meetings.
Manage Customer online assortment set up, including content, pricing, images and videos.
Maintain pricing sheets, item agreements, purchase orders for each Customer.
Manage customer claims, and order processes as necessary.
Develop market intelligence information to share with teams, pulse frequently.
Create team meeting presentations including analysis of sell-to and sell thru data.
Drive efficient transition process to minimize retail showroom disruption.
Provide service escalation support for team - the call center and national account managers.
Price Verification analysis
Take lead in any project development of new delivery tools to improve the customer experience.
Communicate promotional planning documents to accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
Leadership responsibility for field sales communication including Dynamics, Sales Central, Yammer, Weekly Communication and direct to Area Sales Managers
Support special projects to grow business of new product line opportunities.
What you need to Succeed
Students Only. Candidates must be enrolled in college pursuing a Business, Sales or Marketing degree and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Students enrolled in other areas will be considered if the candidate demonstrates applicable skills including business knowledge, analytical capability, curiosity grasp of the big picture and drive to deliver.
Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week during school semesters and full-time in the summer; during the following business hours: Mon - Fri 8 AM – 5:00 PM.
Must have at least 12 months of education remaining before graduation.
Demonstrated customer relationship skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective programs and initiatives.
Strategic and analytical thinking, data oriented decision-making skills and demonstrated ability to manage the details of day-to-day execution.
Self-starter, able to work independently and manage multiple/diverse tasks.
Excellent organizational and communication skills for multiple audiences
