: Intern- GE Appliances Hospitality Sales
We are looking for Sophomore, Junior or Senior college students or MBA Candidates to join GE Appliances, a Haier Company (GEA). In this role, you will work with members of the Hospitality Inside Sales team on a variety of different projects located at GE Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
Upon graduation you could be considered to interview for our Sales Commercial Development Program. The Sales Commercial Development Program (CDP) is a leadership program designed to provide employees with experience in both Retail and Contract sales channels while building a cross-functional network.
What you will Do
Work with Inside Sales Managers to respond to customer inquiries and issue resolution
Provide sales support to improve productivity within the Hospitality team
Assist Inside Sales Managers with order entry, account setups, customer contacts and other sales-related tasks
Support Inside Sales team with project proposals and submittals
Prepare and communicate project counts in a standardized template (MS Excel/MS Word)
Own special projects as assigned
What you need to Succeed
Must be enrolled in college pursing a degree and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Due to the year-round nature of this position, candidate must be attending school local to the Louisville, KY area
Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week during school semesters and full-time in the summer; able to work normal business hours Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Must have at least 12 months of education remaining before graduation
Have excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
Possess a strong work ethic; able to meet deadlines
Be detail-oriented and have a high level of accountability
Be reliable; able to maintain high attendance standards
Strong internet and computer skills as well as proficient use of MS Excel and Word
