The Challenge

The Parts Finance Analyst will partner with Distribution Operations as well as Parts ME leadership to drive warehouse, transportation & Parts micro-enterprise Hoshin goals.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Finance Manager for Parts Distribution, partnering with the operating team to improve operations and increase productivity, also being a critical part of the Parts Microenterprise Finance

organization

  • Own parts inventory and reconciliation, driving stables ops and maintaining controlled process & material flow including leadership role for annual physical inventory count for all locations across country

• Work with operations/quality to reduce scrap costs & set appropriate obsolesce reserves and policies

• Define and execute financial operating routines such as weekly & quarterly estimates, GPB and Operating Plan, monthly Balance Sheet estimates and Account Reconciliations. Provide analysis on YOY inflation, productivity, and fulfillment

• Cross-functional lead between various business functions with regard to Make/Buy analysis for insourcing and outsourcing parts.

• Provide continuous guidance and support to achieve Distribution operating metrics & network optimization while ensuring rigorous controllership of all assets

• Foster culture of controllership across all components of Parts E2E (ie revenue recognition, contracts, reserves, inventory control, and other risk areas)

• Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and Commercial to maximize margin for Parts initiatives

• Key member of ERP Go-Live team for both Parts and Service

What you need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors or better in Finance or related field

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in analysis

  • Minimum 3 years of finance experience

  • Demonstrates ability to engage with the operational team in a collaborative fashion to identify and execute operational improvements

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain business connectivity

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to communicate with all levels within the organization

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with high energy level

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative finance skills with focus on planning and problem solving

  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills

  • FDP graduate, MBA

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

  • Experience in ERP, Oracle preferred & Hyperion
