The Challenge

The DSSO representative will assist the GE Appliances Local Delivery Network (Agents) by resolving issues and answering questions related to GEA and Non-GEA vendor shipments. The DSSO representative will take phone calls, answer emails, and work reports provided via Excel, Access, and GEA Delivers. The DSSO representative will also support other areas of the business answering questions concerning returned appliances.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities:

  • $33,000 annual non-negotiable salary.

  • Answer phone calls and emails from the GEA Local Delivery Network to resolve issues and answer questions related to GEA and Non-GEA vendor shipments.

  • Provide GEA Delivers technology support to GEA Delivery Agents.

  • Support Local Delivery Network with training and questions regarding Oracle processes.

  • Research and respond accurately to GEA and non-GEA home delivery questions and issues.

  • Communicate with non-GEA vendors daily, regarding late trucks, missing paperwork, and other general home delivery questions.

  • Manage GEA inventory through daily team processes, quarterly cycle counts, and yearly physical inventory.

  • Answer calls regarding return pick up issues.

  • Manage assigned tasks with quick and accurate responses.

  • Back up other areas of DSSO as needed.

What you need to Succeed


  • High School Diploma or better

  • 2+ years of work experience preferably in customer service or related field

  • Self-directed with a strong work ethic

  • High energy level with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Detail Oriented

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

Desired Characteristics:

  • 2+ years in a professional environment
