The Adventure

We are looking for college students to join GE Appliances, a Haier Company (GEA). The GE Appliances Digital Marketing intern position will provide support for web projects and content development as well as other special projects as needed.

What you will Learn & Do

Essential Functions/Responsibilities :

  • Manage projects in the digital, web, and ownership areas. This includes coordinating all project reviews, specification creation and approval, primary contact for IT, assisting IT during technical development, complete validation testing, launch, and commercialization

  • Develop QA testing plans in conjunction with development team and QA consultants

  • Define and document processes to manage our ownership data

  • Analyze KPIs for email, web, social, and product registration

  • Track and assess web traffic using Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity issues

  • Assist with pre-campaign launch testing and email campaign documentation

  • Support the social monitoring and listening strategy

  • Lead special projects such as benchmarking other sites and competitor’s digital assets

What you need to Succeed



  • Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master’s program pursuing a business or technical degree

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Must be able to work minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (8AM-5PM) Monday-Friday with opportunities to work 40 hours per week during breaks and summer.


  • Strong process management skills

  • Demonstrated strong communication and analytical skills

  • Must be motivated, able to multi-task and be goal oriented

  • High level of enthusiasm/energy/positive
