Commercial Senior DIrector - Built-in Cooking
The Commercial Senior Director, Built-In Cooking will lead the key commercial aspects of the Built-In Cooking business. This includes Café, GE Profile, GE, Haier and Hotpoint brands for all sales channels. In this role you will work with the Commercial teams to develop and execute differentiating commercialization strategies that exceed customer and consumer expectations, drive profitability and win against the competition.
What you will Do
Lead the commercial efforts with product management and the commercial teams to create strategies that enable double digit revenue growth while achieving operating budgets for all commercial product line metrics.
Influence the strategic approach of MGPPs, Growth Playbook and Product Plans to ensure GEA is poised for success now and in the future.
Develop the built-in cooking connected strategy thru interfacing with product management, insights, SmartHome, technology and key commercial partners to grow this segment and deliver our promise of Happiness and Well Being in every home.
Develop top talent as the manager of the merchandising specialist for Built-in Cooking. Create the vision the merchandising specialist will execute in launching new products and developing a compelling innovative go to market strategy to life.
Demonstrate expertise on upgradable competitive products and customer strategies. Use this knowledge to position GEA to win.
Work closely with sales leadership to create growth plans for Built-in Cooking, leading product line reviews with top customers partners and exceeding customer expectations.
Partner with the fulfillment and sales team to accurately forecast inventory needed to meet the demand during all new product launches, promotion timing and day to day sales plans.
Work very closely with finance and pricing teams to evaluate impacts of pricing, promotion plans and inventory decisions such as selling excess and discontinued inventory.
Develop and lead executive leadership reviews to include weekly QMI, commercial hoshin pulsing, weekly commercial council topics and other ad hoc requests.
Partner with consumer insights, brand, industrial design and product managers to understand consumer data and develop winning commercialization strategies. Use the findings to influence the product marketing efforts to include videos, point of purchase material, feature & benefit copy and all other creative assets.
What you need to Succeed
BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 10 years of Commercial and/or Product Management experience
Forward thinking leader with proven track record, a demonstrated change agent, exceptional communicator and negotiator
Brings an outside in focus, with previous experience in commercial functions
Exceptional interpersonal/written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Exposure to operations and project management a plus
Enthusiastic can-do attitude, high energy level, proven sense of urgency
- IOT experience desired
