Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinators are an integral part of the Talent Acquisition Operations team and overall recruitment process. The TA Campus Coordinator will support assigned client groups by creating offer letters, managing all pre-employment candidate activities, welcoming new hires on their first day and supporting other Campus activities as assigned. We currently have an opening for 1 (one) TA Coordinator
What you will Do
Create, proof and send offer letters to assigned candidates. This process experiences high volume (approximately 200 offers) during the peak Campus recruiting seasons in Spring and Fall
Use Workday to create offer letters and customizing with approved language as requested.
Proof reading letters to ensure accuracy.
Communicate with assigned HR Managers to gain consent and send offer letter to candidate.
Facilitate all pre-employment activities outside of Workday for assigned candidates.
Request drug screen, background check and medical tests, if applicable. Check on progress made toward completion.
Set up all student hire housing and relocation packages and manage exception and change requests.
Answer all questions from candidates during pre-employment process.
Create and send all pre-employment communications.
Engage new hires in Day One Activities.
Ensure company assets and badges are ordered and available; Greet candidates at the Visitors Center or assigned location on their first day.
Complete I-9 and e-Verify processes ensuring compliance measures are met.
Conduct a short, welcome to GE Appliances presentation and Q&A session for new hires.
Manage Campus-related administrative tasks as assigned.
Administer and analyze Student Hire Decliner Survey.
Assist in event creation, event management and candidate communication through vendor website.
Answer inquiries from the Campus Recruiting mailbox.
Support TA Coordinators during non-peak times.
Work on a team of four (4) TA Coordinators and provide coverage of all responsibilities noted above during vacations and other time off.
Lead and/or assist in other TA related projects as assigned.
What you need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field required.
Proven organizational skills; ability to multi-task and handle many different responsibilities each day.
Flexibility and willingness to embrace change is a must; TA Coordinators work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate to varying levels of the organization through email and over the phone.
Must be self-motivated and can self-direct daily work to meet goals and deadlines.
Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including MS Access.
Working knowledge of creating and executing projects including creating project plans.
Experience with Workday or other Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
Prior experience in a phone-based role within a business environment preferred.
Prior experience in Talent Acquisition (Recruitment) with offer letters and pre-employment activities preferred; Experience with Campus Recruiting strongly preferred.
