Brand Development Senior Manager, Haier & Hotpoint
This role will be instrumental in developing and executing business plans to achieve brand volume, profit and share objectives, as well as Innovation and New Product strategies for the Haier & Hotpoint brands. The successful candidate will effectively navigate complex issues, leveraging business understanding to lead and recommend solutions to drive growth. This will also include analysis of consumer, customer, and competitive trends to identify and develop brand growth opportunities. This role will champion the business brand growth by partnering with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Sales, PR, Agency Partners, Product Management, and Senior Leadership.
What you will Do
Support Senior Brand Director in developing product, innovation, marketing, and business plans to achieve brand volume, profit and share objectives in context of a larger house of brands.
Develop new product insights and consumer targeted product offerings via trend and competitive analyses; partnering with the product management team to prioritize and execute.
Understand and own consumer positioning/brand message and develop creative briefs, partnering with digital, advertising and merchandising teams to execute consumer touch points.
Understand competitive dynamics; interfacing with Marketing managers, customer marketing team and sales to support strategic positioning of brand.
Partner with Insights team to develop consumer positioning, and regular brand tracking information to monitor brand performance.
Understand and lead business execution of brand licensing compliance.
In close co-operation with Pricing, Marketing and sales, support Senior Brand Director, to develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions across brands.
What you need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 7 years of Brand/Marketing experience; in Consumer-Packaged Goods, Retailer /Manufacturing or related industry preferred
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute critical tasks in a complex and continually changing environment
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated strategic thinking skills and proven ability to balance short and long term objectives
Collaborator with a demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Must be willing and able to travel to GEA sites, customers and agencies, as needed
Previous sales/customer marketing experience
A team player with demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate cross functionally
High level of self-motivation/initiative
