The Challenge


The Regional Sales Manager – Southwest will be responsible for driving sales and further developing Haier’s Ductless solution within the Southwest region. To learn more about Haier’s Ductless product line, please visit This is a remote field-based job to be located in a major city in Texas or in another state within the Southwest region (within an hour of a major airport) and reporting to the Senior Commercial Director, Ductless.

What you will Do


  • Develop a full-scale sales, marketing and operational plan to create a growth oriented business model within region.

  • Own the creation and execution of annual sales plans/strategies within region to ensure attainment of both sales and margin objectives for Ductless business.

  • Develop, create and foster relationships with key stakeholders at targeted distributors in the region.

  • Translate relationships into business opportunities and results.

  • Effectively articulate the value proposition of our Ductless solutions and services to dealers/distributors.

  • Understand dealer/distributor strategy, the competitive environment and key drivers behind a dealer/distributor’s need for change/buying decisions.

  • Create short and long-term dealer/distributor plans in concert with the Senior Commercial Director, Ductless.

  • Increase bottom line profits in the region through careful analysis of P&L with Senior Commercial Director, Ductless.

  • Develop strong partnership between with operation functions, drastically improving overall efficiency and customer satisfaction levels.

What you need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a business development/sales role for a solution based product within the HVAC industry.

  • Proven success in growing new business from start to finish

  • Excellent leadership skills, with ability to positively support, influence and lead internal and external customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and think independently and determine key stakeholders quickly.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong customer relationship building skills.

  • Ability to travel within region up to 50%.


  • Possess data-driven yet common sense approach to execution.

  • Decisive, high energy person with the ability to energize others.

  • Established relationships at wholesale companies within the region
