The Challenge

The Monogram Showroom & Design Manager will oversee the Chicago Monogram Showroom operations and designer training program. In addition, they will define and execute a designer engagement strategy in conjunction with a talented team of design leaders.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Monogram brand’s short and long-term strategies for the showroom and designer engagement

  • Lead and coach showroom and designer engagement teams

  • Coordination of all showroom event logistics and daily operations

  • Lead individual and group designer training sessions

  • Lead Monogram growth in the Chicago area. Work with Sales & Marketing to drive the profitability

  • Establish, manage and maintain relationships with specifiers, designers, architects (SDAs) and consumers both in the showroom and in top focus territories (i.e. NKBA., ASID, IFDA, AIA involvement)

  • Grow Monogram’s Trade Partner program - luxury rewards & designer training sessions.

  • Define event strategy for designers both at a national and local level

  • Drive Designer metrics and operating rhythm

  • Establish expertise in luxury and Monogram brand and convey benefits to SDA’s and consumers

  • Work with field marketing, customer marketing, and field sales teams to drive strategy in local markets

  • Develop sales leads/referrals and manage client portfolio

  • Educate on additional trade programs

  • Showroom – based position

What you need to Succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 7 years in Marketing and/or Showroom operations

  • Prior experience working with designers and specifying product

  • Experience leading and coaching a team

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills

  • Articulate, effective communicator

  • Must be willing and able to travel to GEA sites and customers, as needed

  • Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays as required by business need

Desired Characteristics

  • Kitchen design credentials (AKBD, CKD, etc.)

  • Appliances or luxury sales experience
